Well, I’m not a scientist… but I’m working with them because I’m commited to making the world a better place. We need smart scientists who can solve some of the world’s most complex puzzles like Malaria, HIV and global warming. When the company was founded, scientists from Amyris started work on an affordable anti malaria medication. These days the focus is on a renewable fuel that people can use instead of gasoline. We want to make the world a better place not only across the globe but in our own backyards and our local schools.
Life Outside of Work:
I love to travel. The picture above is from Angkor Wat, Cambodia, one of my favorite places in the world. I enjoy spending time with close friends and family, cooking new recipes, playing soccer, listening to NPR interviews, dancing and watching movies on the big screen.
Advice:
Trust your instincts, they are usually right on target. Have fun every day, work hard, stay positive and always, always look out for one another J !
