About
Because state funding does not keep in pace with the district’s costs, our schools have had to reduce or eliminate classroom supplies and programs such as art, music, sports, and instructional technology.
The Emery Ed Fund is here to address these gaps, and generate support through tax-deductible donations, grants, and other activities. All efforts help to support our community and create better opportunities for the youth and families of Emeryville.
The Emery Ed Fund staff and board work with the Emeryville Unified School District teachers, staff and administrators, to align programs with district needs and priorities. Included in our network are: local educational institutions like Ex’pression College for Digital Arts; non-profit partners like Future Leaders Institute; companies such as Pixar, Jamba Juice, Bayer, Amyris and Novartis; and individuals from local and nearby communities.
With caring attitudes, and an understanding of challenges, Emery Ed Fund supporters exercise awareness and help make a difference in our community. Many make thoughtful donations and serve as much needed volunteers for our students, teachers, programs and events.
